HomeScore Real Estate and Listing Data Disclaimers

These disclosures explain how HomeScore scoring, property data, realtor collaboration, and listing information should be understood.

1. HomeScore Scale

HomeScore displays buyer-fit scores on a 0 to 10 scale. The score reflects the buyer profile, selected priorities, tour notes, and available property information. Top-three buyer priorities may carry heavier weight, while other criteria are blended into the overall fit signal.

2. Not Professional Advice

HomeScore is not a substitute for a licensed realtor, attorney, lender, inspector, appraiser, insurance professional, surveyor, tax advisor, or local government source. Buyers should independently verify all material facts before making an offer, waiving contingencies, signing contracts, or making financial decisions.

3. Listing Data and MLS/IDX Rules

Property information may come from MLS, IDX, broker, agent, public-record, listing-data, or user-provided sources. Listing details can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, stale, changed, withdrawn, pending, sold, or unavailable. Photos, listing remarks, broker attribution, agent attribution, data-source labels, refresh cadence, and display rules are subject to the requirements of the applicable provider.

4. Repliers/HAR and Provider Attribution

Production Houston-area listing access is expected to use Repliers connected to HAR data access, subject to final provider agreement, attribution language, photo rights, caching limits, and mobile display permissions. HomeScore must show any required broker, MLS, IDX, and data-source attribution once those final terms are confirmed.

5. Fair Housing and Sensitive Criteria

HomeScore is designed to help buyers evaluate homes based on lawful property preferences and personal priorities. Users and realtors must not use HomeScore to make, encourage, or record discriminatory housing decisions or to violate fair-housing laws.
